Is VarThings free?
Yes. The app is free on iOS and Android.
Do my devices go through the cloud?
No. Devices are discovered and controlled over your local network. Your VarThings account is only used to sign in to the app.
Which devices work today?
Shelly Wi-Fi relays and plugs, and VarAudio. Fibaro is in development; KNX is planned.
Can I buy VarAudio?
Yes. VarAudio costs €50 plus €9.50 DHL shipping within the EU, delivered in about 2 weeks, with secure checkout by Stripe. Use the Buy button on the VarAudio page.
Does VarAudio play music without internet?
Local MP3 playback from the storage card doesn't need internet. Radio stations do.
